Occasionally Random

Just finished reading and reviewing Hounded by Kevin Hearne (click on the pic to get to my review).

It’s a lovely little urban fantasy novel, nothing too heavy but not too fluffy either. Atticus as character and narrator has a great sense of humor, with a mite less angst than Harry Dresden (which I kind of appreciate right now). Also love Oberon - especially since I’m one of those people who wishes she could know what her dog was thinking :D. Also really, really loved how magic is a learned skill, not something you’re born with. I like how egalitarian that is :D.
